Goals Seem Overwhelming? Break Them Down with This Simple Method

Chasing Your Goals: A Step-by-Step Guide

Let’s talk about goals, what they mean, and how to chase them. So, what do you realistically want from life? Maybe a financial goal? Maybe to have a family? Maybe to start a new business?

Step 1: Write it down.

Next, let’s zoom out on the goal. Look at it for what it is. What steps are involved? Can this be easily obtained? How do you get from here to there?

Step 2: Break it down into a time frame. Give yourself an end date for when you want it to be done, then let’s reverse engineer it.

Step 3: Identify the core components of the goal. Write those down. What can you personally do? What do you need to outsource? What do you need to research?

Step 4: Create short action steps for each core component. Then, create achievable lists of these tasks and put them in order of priority. Write that down and divide the tasks up by the time until the end date.

Step 5: Execute. Follow these short lists in order of priority to cross off each core component week by week until you are complete.

Does it seem complicated? Hit me up, and I’ll walk you through it until the end.
